The role of the Enterprise Technical Architects is to develop the Infrastructure architecture and technology roadmaps based on emerging solutions, partner offerings and market trends. The Technical architects need to collaborate with Supplier and ITSO staff on architectures for integrated services that support Shell requirements and strategies. They need to develop standards, reference architectures and practices to guide the use of ITS services in business IT projects. Review and assure architectures for ITS and business IT projects.
Project or Activitiy Description: The main focus of this role is to maintain and further develop Shell's Target Operating Envrionment (TOE). Scan the market and develop, publish and present technology trend and strategy briefings for s IT leadership. Working with partners, collegues and stakeholders to agree next version and updates to the Shell TOE.
Technical skill and experience:
- Extensive background as senior back-office infrastructure architect operating in a large organization.
- Deep profound knowledge of and experience with IT Technology, IT market developments, Cloud, emerging technologies.
- Excellent writing skills for presentation material and documents like high-level designs, technology position papers etc.
- Knowledge and experience with IT Service Development, IT Delivery.
- Certification: Open Group Senior Architect, TOGAF 9.1.
Soft Skills and experience:
- Excellent in communication and relation management. Insight in and experience with challenges related to organizational change.
- Excellent motivational and leadership capabilities.
