Calling urgently for Applications Support Consultants to join a client on a long-term contract basis in Luxembourg starting ASAP!
The Application Support Consultants’ main objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of our java applications. This role is focused on production support and does not involve participation in the migration project between application versions.
The selected Application Support Consultants will be proactive and detail-oriented, ready to adapt to changing support needs.
The role involves monitoring application errors, analysing and investigating incidents, performing code reviews and debugging, and providing support for a portfolio of approximately 20 applications.
On-call support: On-call availability is from Monday at 12:00 AM until Saturday at 8:00 AM, with interventions occurring on a random basis. Some weeks may pass with no calls, while other weeks may require 3 or 4 interventions.
Skills /experience required:
- 5 years+ professional experience
- Strong technical expertise in Java applications; Java 21
- Experience in internal application support with development skills to handle ongoing maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with familiarity with application lifecycle management (version control)
- Microservices
- Angular is an advantage
- Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL
- Linux/windows server.
- Ability to work closely with the development team to maintain application reliability and efficiency
- Flexibility and prioritization skills to meet diverse support needs.
- French fluency is a MUST!
