A large European Telecoms client is currently recruiting for an Operational Support Consultant to join the Business Activity Monitoring team. Extensive Software AG WebMethods product suite experience required.
The chosen candidate will be integrated in an operational team to perform the preventive, Incident , problem , release Management on the business activity monitoring solution.
On daily basis you will make sure (proactively and reactivily) that Software component used in the BAM solution are running properly.
Ensure that appropriate monitoring and alerting is in place to detect abnormal condition on Software AG Components.
You will follow the change management cycle by implementing changes in all environment (except DEV) without unexpected outages.
You will be in charge of the product upgrade in all environment (except DEV) following the guidelines provided by colleagues from the engineering team.
You will be the SPOC for the Vendor concerning operational issues, and you will apply the Problem Management principle to tackle structural issues.
Required technical knowledge:

• Specific knowledge on WebMethods products (mandatory)

• Basic knowledge of Unix
