Key responsibilities for this role are understanding the requirements in the domain of SDN/NFV Orchestration from different areas such as customers, industry best practice, new standards and emerging trends. Have a deep understanding of management system layers, relationships and convergence driving automation and orchestration in the industry.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Orchestration solutions, including business drivers and technical aspects of virtualization (particularly SDN & NFV)
- Network Management, Service Provisioning / Fulfilment & Assurance software solutions
- Modelling end-to-end services in a multi-technology, multi-vendor environment; experience in resource modelling also a distinct advantage
- NETCONF, YANG & TOSCA
- Network technologies, equipment (types & vendors) and services
- Ability to follow the latest developments in a rapidly evolving technology sector
- Capability & insight to see how new solutions relate to current market needs, and vice versa how market needs can drive new solutions
