About the Role:

Technical Skills Required:

IT Security Analyst

Endeavour is looking for a skilled, service oriented IT Security Analyst to join a large, reputable client based in Belgium. The contract would initially be for 6 months, with possible extensions.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have some experience in the security domain or in the IT application security architecture.

Your main responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Perform or coordinate the security validation to ensure effective implementation of security controls in project development lifecycle
  • Ensure the timely and effective remediation of security weaknesses and defects revealed in security validation during PLC
  • Assist in coaching of application security controls with the SME and act as the security point of contact for the business and project teams
  • Assist with SME for the integration of application security in projects e.g. authentication and authorisation, non-repudiation, cryptographic controls, data protection
  • Produce documented security services, technical standards or principles.

 

 Skills and experience required:

  • Familiarity with industry best practices in key domains: risk assessment, application security, identity and access management, and secure development on all platforms.
  • Sound security design principles, based on confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements and other ISO27002 security principles are an asset;
  • Application security knowledge with a good understanding of software development and OWASP guidelines
  • Knowledge of and experience with security technologies including IDAAS and identity management platforms, PKI and cryptographic solutions, web application firewalls, automated code review tools, secure management access, virtualization, XaaS solutions
  • Sufficient background knowledge with regard to network principles and protocols used in WAN and LAN's, DMZ, Internet security, , network segregation
  • Experience with a subset of Unix, Windows System, tandem, mainframe security and assurance
  • proven experience in security risk assessments, development of functional security requirements, process design and management reporting.
  • Experience in security design, architecture and project management is a strong advantage.

Endeavour is calling for an experienced Solution/Infrastructure Architect  to join an international Telecoms client, based in The Netherlands, for a contract till the end of the year, initially.

The successful Solution/Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for defining and documenting IT business solutions that meets program/project scope business requirements and that are aligned with published enterprise architecture. Act as technical lead during IT project life cycle to ensure that implemented changes support the overall integrity, robustness and efficiency of the IT business solutions. Define and document IT roadmap supporting product roadmap and business strategy that ensures cost effectiveness through standardization, reusability and optimization.

Your main responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Define, design and document IT business solutions, delivering Business Solution Architecture (BSA) document, corresponding UML artefacts (i.e. Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) in support of documenting the program/project scoped IT business solution.
  • Ensure that the solution architecture is compliant and aligned to the published Enterprise Architecture blueprints and product, technology and infrastructure roadmaps. Direct a design change control to ensure that all changes are considered in relation to the end-to-end design baseline. Ensure that the solution is aligned to defined scope but also positioned for future requirements.
  • Review and approve design artefacts for the IT business solution (i.e. Functional Designs, Technical Designs, Interface Specifications, Data Mappings etc.), liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
  • Co-operate with the Enterprise Architects on definition of the E2E architecture to assure the integrity, robustness and efficiency of the future E2E solutions. Identify opportunities to increase reusability and maximise cost synergies.

  • 5 years+ experience in design of server, storage and databases
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies
