Working with the development teams and product specifications, you will develop test cases in C / C++ to validate project requirements and verify software quality for the duration of the development lifecycle or sprints. You will strive to improve the  tools through execution of tests and resolution of defects. You will report results to the Development Lead and Test Manager.

Technical Skills:

Experience reviewing code changes, mitigating conflicts, supporting the hiring of staff

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent C / C++ skills and structured programming techniques

Experience of writing test cases for APIs and console applications

Knowledge of source control systems, bug reporting software & project tracking software (such as Perforce/GitHub, Bugzilla and Hansoft/Confluence)

Experience in testing of tools or systems

Fluent in English

Strong problem-solving skills

Desirable skills/qualifications:

Computer Science or Engineering Degree - 1st or 2:1 or further postgraduate qualifications

Knowledge or experience of Agile, Waterfall and similar development methodologies

Knowledge or experience in Lua, C#, Python or similar scripting languages.

Experience with Visual Studio and support tools

Games development background ? especially in console development

Experience in using testing frameworks such as CppUnit

Experience in test automation

3D Graphics, Audio, Network or Client-Server programming experience
