C/C++ Advanced Engineer - London
Endeavour Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a C/C++ Engineer to work for a famous household name for a 12 months fixed-term contract.
The ideal candidate will come from C/C++ environment and be enthusiastic about gaming technologies.
The successful applicant, will join our client’s established, high performance team in central London and be involved in the implementation of features, porting, maintenance and support of an existing C++ application framework.
Responsibilities
Implementing and testing required features and software components within the framework.
Keeping implementation on target to meet a tight schedules.
Providing innovation to current technology.
Building and updating framework samples and documentation.
Integrating the framework with other application components being designed and implemented on parallel schedules.
Working closely with other technology teams in different countries responsible for middleware components within the framework.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience
A minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience
Proficient in C/C++.
Experience in developing video streaming protocol stack and video streaming application
Good knowledge in HLS protocol
Good knowledge and experience writing test units used for validating and regression testing of software components.
Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with differing groups both inside and outside of the company.
Ability to work to strict deadlines without direct supervision.
Experience with source code revision control, Git preferred.

At least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager is desirable. Prior experience in Change Management required. Contract to end of March 2017. Rate £400.00-£450.00 per day.
